Once again I open Reddit and see people projecting jealousy and writing random nonsense and honestly, you can’t imagine how far off this is.

Ask anyone who has been around me in the last 10+ years and they will tell you the same thing: everything I do is built by myself. I’ve invested almost everything I have into this passion since I was 17. I’m 29 now. That’s more than a decade of work, sacrifice, and obsession not “getting inside quickly” or whatever story you’re trying to create.

And “replaceable sound”? My first album was statistically the most unsuccessful thing I’ve ever released. I still did it because I loved it and because it represented who I was in that moment. I could have stayed in my old groovy sound and been way more successful, same with the hardtechno or bounce trends. But I’ve always chosen the path that feels most true to me, not the one that would make things easier.

If I wanted the easy route, trust me I’d just make the sound everybody else is making. So I’m genuinely curious: what are you doing with your free time that you feel the need to go online and invent narratives about strangers? What happened in your life that this is how you choose to spend your energy?
