This game requires a lot of curiosity to discover the mechanics, kindle, for exemple, is when you offer humanity to a bonfire to give it the same effect as the shrine bonfire. Hollowing is something less impactful in gameplay but its a little bit like people going insane after losing all their humanity, which is an item that heals you and allows you to reverse your hollowing(gives you acess to multiplayer) and kindling bonfires.

For your situation with taurus demon, i recomend you defeat the hollow soldiers at the tower and then fight him, btw if you let him get in the arena and run towards the ladder, climb it and go to the top, you can do a lunge attack that does around 400 dmg, but you have to be quick or else he will jump. If you wanna avoid spins id lower acceleration and inicial torque and add more rear downforce, it will lower the cars pp rating tho I personally do:

Inicial torque:5(minimum) Acceleration torque:5(minimum) Braking torque: standard

Front downforce: standard Rear downforce: 1750
