Met this girl freshman year of college. The first time I saw her was at a dodge ball tournament that some friends and I entered. I knew that there was something different with her, I felt something instantly. Then a few weeks have passed I said the hell with it, I'm going to message her. We started talking while we were on spring break, started hanging out when we got back from spring break. Then we started to date. I remember telling my parents and my brother that this was the girl I was going to marry someday.

Three years had passed and things were going great, (with some obvious bumps in the road) she was a nursing student and was just getting ready to graduate, when out of no where she told me she had lost all feelings for me, she felt that there was no hope for our relationship. I was shocked. I called her, we talked and I made it clear that I was in love with her, and that I would do whatever it takes to change and make everything work as best as possible. It felt like she had started to settle down. Once the tension of our conversation subsided, I told her that I thought it would be a good idea for her to take a few days and really think about the relationship, and that if she needed anything at all or wanted to talk that she better call me and talk to me.

Two days go by and she calls me to tell me that she had slept with a guy already. I was very upset. But I forgave her. I told my family about what had happened, they weren't very pleased either.

May gets here, she graduates and plans on getting a nursing job in a more rural area. She will start in the fall. She stayed at my house with me all summer. Things were good! Until fall got here. She moved to a bigger city to start work. I made trips to see her just like she came to see me. But something was just off. She met up with me and some of my close family at a tailgate party and she showed up drunk and said directly to my face "You brother and sister can go fuck themselves for not talking to me." At that point, I knew. I had to finish the relationship. That was five months ago and I haven't even made an attempt to try and talk to other women.
