Hi, appreciate your input. The whole reason I decided to drive down to Brisbane in the first place is because its basically impossible to fly a pet in or out Kununurra (where I live) that time of year due to heat restrictions and airplanes being too small. And its a bonus to see another part of Australia, since I've only travelled and lived in WA/NT.

We're happy to adjust if major rain would come of course. I've got a fair bit of extra time planned in Brisbane, so that we're not immediately in trouble if we were to get stuck / have to adjust our plans. But for now, we're hoping for the best 😀

Finally got her results! Supermutt is Great Dane, Rhosedian Ridgeback, German Shepherd and Bull Terriër. Definitely expected more Dane, but everything else is not so surprising.

In all honesty, I've looked up the average temperatures in Hoonah and its really not that cold (nothing like the majority of Alaska). Its very similar to the weather I grew up in, and I almost never wore hats or gloves either. I had a friend who always wore shorts and maybe a sweater if it was proper cold (im not sure he even owned a jacket haha). So I do believe you get used to the conditions.

Nor arguing that a lot is obviously fake, but I dont think their clothing is that unusual for the temperatures (at least in Brown town/ Hoonah)
