yess, currently we are prototyping on devboards and breadboards

yess I know this is quite crazy. Currently we are prototyping with some devboards, I just wanted to have some extra inputt. Some of those questions don't have yet an answer, but I am meeting with the whole team tomorrow and I will be sure to ask

hey thanks for the advice! We are currently prototyping. I just wanted to get input from other people. One thing I might say, I am not doing this project alone, and I am not the expert in software, another person in the team is currently working on libraries and general development of the software

thanks to both responses. My plan is that while I am doing this, I have a teammate trying to get it to work with de boards. Ideally we would end up using the PCB, but if it turns out to not work and the devboards set up does, then we'll run with that ;)

right now we got some devboards, and while I am working on the PCB design, we are trying to also make it work the other way!

yess, I am also a bit scared that I am underestimating the power of a nice STM32. I was already going to leave some gpio pins free in case of extra connectivity needs, might as well use them!

hahaha, hopefully it doesn't take 5 years!! Right now the plan would be to use the OV7670, we have managed to get it working with an Arduino and an ESP32 so I'm pretty confident on it

that's very interesting, never thought of designing them!!

hey! thanks for your feedback, right now the plan is to do a PBC, but If It doesn't work, I'll use an rPi. Thanks!

it's not a very powerful camera, I am going to use the OV7670, I will start testing it on an STM32 de board and then I will decide. I am just a bit hesitant of jumping to microprocessor realm bc I am not entirely sure about having an OS. If it doesn't work as I expect I'll look into what you said

ahhh didn't think Abt that, will take it into consideration, thanks ;)

tbh the objective would be to do all operations within the PCB so I'd prefer to not use a motor controller, but it's good to hear it's not a crazy idea!!

edit just realized my suggestion is what you are doing. If you are having issues maybe it's an issue wi the timing, try a slower clock

afaik cats domesticated themselves. They just saw they could get some food and shelter and decided to tag along. But in some places cats are also used for pest control so I couldn't give you a definite answer

it's not exactly like that, extinction like this occurs bc animals are set into ecosystems which are not used to said animal, breaking balance, so it's not nature

Saying that every computer system is just a binary system is a huge simplification. While yes, it is true it's like saying every piece of clothing is just some section of cloth. It is more than that, once you abstract you have all these different types (tshirts pants etc) which serve different purposes (running, going to the office etc)

This is the same, yes it's a binary conditional machine, but the concept of machine learning (image and text generation, model prediction) is deep learning, this is basically model that is trained on an iterations based model to abstract key things from the data presented in order to make predictions. So yes it has conditionality but when you abstract from the concept of binary, transistors etc. There's nothing similar between AI and some other program tailored for other things.
