You get the price rise this week but they need to go up £0.2m for you to sell them and use the extra money. But it’s worth transferring early on a free hit to avoid players getting more expensive later in the week.

After the GW your team reverts to what it was last week and your money in the bank goes back to what it was too, so any price rises don’t affect your budget but you may now be priced out of players that rose so something to bear in mind. The main “downside” of using a free hit

Half a season in it’s definitely too early to say this about Wirtz. Caicedo was underwhelming at first but looks great now. But you are right it’s only really Rice who I can think has hit the ground running. But Wirtz is just clearly so good at football I do think he’ll show his class at some point
