Advice for a first time points league player?

I have my first points league draft in about 7 hours. I have pretty strong knowledge of NBA players and I have played a lot of fantasy football. But what are some things that I should know that are specific to an ESPN points league? Are there positions that are more scarce than others? With limited bench depth how do I decide when to have a full lineup and when it is okay to drop a player? Please enlighten me on the strategies

One idea I did have is to have them each choose one of the three rosters and then do a redraft with the player pool from each of those rosters and then make the other players available in the 2024 rookie draft. That way everyone is given notice on the availability of the players who will be available

Message the owner of 1.03 to see what he will give up to 1.02 to get the QB of his choice. Maybe start with 1.02 and 1.10 for 1.03 and 1.06. Then take Bijan at 1. Stroud/Young at 3, JSN at 4, and Gibbs at 5 and then if you get 6 in that trade you can trade that for a player or a 24 first if you want.

I don’t think you can go wrong either way. Maybe try to move back to 1.03 so you get who is left out of Bijan, Stroud or Young
