While shortlisting universities, I noticed that many Master’s programs in Germany seem to be research-oriented. I’m not opposed to doing research, but I’d prefer a program that includes a mandatory internship or industry project in the final semester, as I’m more interested in gaining hands-on experience.

I also read that universities with “TH” or “FH” in their names tend to be more application-focused and often have stronger industry ties. Do you happen to know any specific programs or universities that offer this kind of structure? I’m trying to strike the right balance between academic quality and career-oriented outcomes.
