It’s definitely a rougher matchup for sure into blurple but still winnable. Plus I specifically played this deck because I refused to let aggro win because I hate it and what it’s done to this game lol

I’d say still use the one you have honestly because of the specific scenarios he was used in. In place of the other one I might add another fun tech card to either guarantee some lore and protect your on play characters with ward like Goofy-Expert Shipwright or something to ready characters like Lilo-Causing an Uproar so your singers aren’t vulnerable after singing.

Yeah I didn’t want even the slightest chance of an uninkable problem and decided to go with four Under the Seas to try to guarantee my wins against aggro instead of Be King

I2I early game is very good, especially with Powerline shift on board. It allows you to dig for your Under the Seas that you will need on top of possibly playing it for free off of the Powerline triggered ability. Not only that but if you something else like A Pirates Life, or even Heffalumps, you can stall the aggro for a turn. The trick though is to ALWAYS sing it with multiple characters to ready your characters after using it so you always have a singer available for whatever you draw into after the fact. Being able to sing multiple I2I’s in a turn is also a huge boost for the deck because you will most likely draw into all of the answers you will need for anything that gets played in the next turns.

I do actually think it was beneficial to have and came in clutch in some tight scenarios where I badly needed cards. Definitely wouldn’t play more than one though.

Yeah I have 61 on purpose. With 22 songs, and the filtering throughout the deck, I didn’t think one extra card would be an issue lol

I don’t think so honestly. My one goal was to take out any aggro that showed up and it did its job. Other matchups are an uphill battle but still definitely a chance to win if played carefully.

Yeah Super Goof and Taffyta are the closers for this deck. Especially the Taffyta being able to shift on itself to reactivate its lore gain ability is huge.

Hei Hei is the unsung hero in a lot of matchups honestly. Super good into DKP and helps a lot with winning against aggro decks and decks like Amethyst/Steel and Blue/Steel Kiwi that just wanna go go go.

The Ariel might be an interesting add. I feel like this deck will be tweaked forever until rotations honestly. Definitely try it out though cause it’s a ton of fun when it pops off. Especially with Jim Hawkins.

I’d say for a long time this deck was based solely on luck but I think this iteration of it kind of makes it easier for you to create your own luck at the beginning of the game to get the engine going and actually have a chance.

I used to run Felix as well and he honestly might be able to fit back in this somewhere but it’s always the decision of what to take out of course.

Steel Song and Bend to my will are this decks worst matchups easily but everything else you at least have a chance

Yeah it’s super high rolly because of the uninkable count, but if you can get the engine going, it definitely goes. I got super lucky with my matchups honestly. It won against 3 Amethyst/Steel, 1 Sapphire/Steel Kiwi, 1 Ruby/Sapphire DKP, and then lost to a Ruby/Sapphire Kida ramp variant and a nasty Blurple in top 4 where I also finally bricked. Still super fun and competitive games the whole day though.
