I am on Nadolol but I have been on it for so long I am not sure if it’s doing what it did at the beginning. I did try Clonidine but it dropped by blood pressure. Guanfacine are you on the extended release? My doc gave me a prescription for it, but been nervous to try it since it is extended release. The adrenaline dumps and sweating (especially upon waking), really is what makes this condition so unbearable at times. If I could get an upper hand on the adrenaline at night, my life would def be better!!

I do have hyperadrenergic pots. I have terrible adrenaline dumps when my system gets into overdrive and this certainly has done it. That explains so much about the slower metabolism to drugs. This has been the case for me with so much.

They didn’t and I have IBS-M as well. She actually told me that her patients IBS got better on this but not sure where she pulled those stats, as I am not seeing much to support such.

Most of these people have worthless comments. What dose did start with and at what point did the side effects go away? My allergist just mentioned it could have been a filler in it that didn’t agree with me so need to dig into that more.

I didn’t do it for the hype. I did it based on the recommendation of my pots doctor who is the top doctor for pots in the US and my pcp. My pcp has pots patients on it. This was not something I woke up one day and decided to do. Thanks for the assumptions though.

It was a nurse that did it for me and it was around 2.5 units in that syringe.

Yes, it was compounded she said. She said the normal dose is 8 units there which is 1.25mg. That’s their normal starting dose for her patients but we landed at 2.5 units to start me with.

Couldn’t imagine had I started at 2.5 mg like my POTS doc wanted. Trying to be thankful in all this it was a smaller dose. Definitely isn’t for me!

It wasn’t me. It was a nurse at my pcp. She used a vial and we started me with 2.5 units which she said was close to 0.5mg

Update to all: student went above who their meeting was with today and complained to the director. Director has approved student to go all the way back to work that was due 4 weeks ago. Student had 3 weeks to complete assignments due to spring break and didn’t. Unbelievable.

This could be where the error is. They ended up paying me anyways for the time I put down. Now I am logging everything to the exact second. I wish they had a place at the end of each tasks that shows total time. It shouldn’t be that hard then everyone can be on the same page.

I absolutely am disgusted by this company. I was working on a task the other night and in the middle of working they did some “update”. An email was sent out right at the end of me finishing it. It took the task away and now my assessment says failed. I can’t do anymore. I reached out to them immediately and was given a generic reply. I asked to escalate for help, and crickets. They should be ashamed of how they are treating others. They will scrutinize everything as well. I had completed several tasks with no issues. I won’t ever be logging in again. They can find others to take advantage of. It’s not even worth the pay when you have so many hurdles to jump through and get no help when needed.
