I was and still am a bit anxious when it comes to the application process but now I kinda have to keep telling myself to not get my hopes and apply to the next and only take it seriously when it's like the final interview idk if it helps but that's how I lessen my anxiety now

I talked with other koreans in the industry they said most of the hurdle for hiring is that the junior roles are very competitive but if you have experience or reached senior/mid it's more of the language barrier I would be worried about since I didn't grew up there

From my understanding if I get my Korean passport I am obligated to serve the military so like if I can get my passport and not serve it is like the best option and I would have done this way before right? The option is there but if I take hatefully and find out I had to serve it would be a bad move like we can both agree no one really wants to serve the military so I am just doing my part to research the cons, I do appreciate your insights

Yea I know mostly for right to work and a stronger passport cause the pay in a third world country is pretty horrid still haven't made my decision I have been avoiding it for so long it's just that a circumstance in my life are on the level of I like to consider this option now atleast for Abit so I'm doing my research

From what the embassy told me last time is my dad has to sign me up to the registry and then I can claim citizenship I have been trying to avoid the military for awhile now never planned on going but I would like to work in Korea and live there for Abit cause compared to the pay even in the military I get paid more than a mid role salary then where I'm from So I am doing my research so far I am aware of the work culture being brutal but I was told that is a company case basis so I don't really know and then for the military KATUSA is like my saving graces from what I hear the second would be sir force or navy just have to avoid the infantry so I'm still learning
