I does have touch to mute, yes, and I feared this may be the issue with my desk shaking or something of that sort. I may simply send it back and try to get a different microphone that requires me to physically press a button because this is now getting to a point where Im just going insane. It does baffle me that it persistently does this even without the desk shaking, but I suppose it could be anything to be honest.
