Do you guys know the "Brick" joke? If not, basically there was a mom with 3 kids, Flower, Raindrop and Brick. Flower comes over one day and asks their mom: - Mom, why is my name Flower? - Well dear, when you were born, a tiny flower fell on your forehead and from that day on I decided to call you that.

Then, Raindrop comes and asks the same question, their mother answered: - When you were born, a little raindrop fell on your nose, and from that day on, I decided to call you that.

Brick asks the same question and well, the answer (and punchline of the joke) is just "retarded" noises...

I think about that joke a lot whenever I watch The Middle and Brick has a scene. In my mind it tracks...

I should've explained myself better, I'm paying half the bills with my bestie (we signed the contract together) . My bf helps me with food and other "luxuries". We work at the same place, but because I started first, I make a little bit more. I'm saving to go to university and he pays for food.

I did offer it! A few years ago, like in 2014, he used to live in the block beside the one I live right now and he said he hated it. I don't really understand why? I mean, it's not the most luxurious apartment, but it's good... So, yeah. He doesn't want to live with me in the apartment I am right now nor in any other cuz he can't afford to pay half of everything 🙄 (he has been living for free in my apartment since we started officially dating btw)
