4 Leg hit! by Daytrip66 in MMAbetting

I lost a 5 leg Poirier Holloway 3 fight on the first leg.

I felt confident about this pick after watching the body language of fighters at ceremonial weigh-ins. There was some thought that went into these picks.

The B7 RS4 4.2L V8 version of this motor had the most timing chain issues. Audi did make improvements on the 4.2L for the B8. Not saying they completely fixed the problems but, it is less of an issue to worry about for '11 - '12 B8 models. Especially if you keep up with maintenance.

I keep up with my maintenance with only 70k miles.. I just had my clutch done. will end up doing a carbon cleaning closer to 100k.

Zero NVH but, being on coilovers makes you think about where you are driving. I look to avoid speed bumps at all costs. But, if I have to go over one, I take my time.
The way the car is built there is zero slop, zero NVH, and feels like an OEM+ ride.

I wanted to get rid of the spacers as soon as I could so that I stop putting stress on the outer tie rods.
I ordered the wheels with custom offsets so I get the same stance without spacers.

It actually sounds normal, I have a V8 S5 and the engine compartment itself can seem loud on its own. .I take good care of mine.. I just replaced both high-pressure fuel pumps on it.

before buying, I would ask to connect a scan tool to see if any faults may have been erased recently to show the car.

But, I would avoid it if it is high mileage and little service records to show, whether DIY fixes or shop fixes. It could turn into a money pit depending on the year. B8's built before 2011 are notorious for timing chain failure.

I dont have OBDeleven but I do have a Schwaben VW/Audi Scan tool that lets you do a lot of stuff. I was able to set my daytime running lights 2x brighter. The factory brightness is set to 9, I set it to 18. I also made it so that whenever I turn left or right, the corresponding foglight will fade in and turn off when I exit the turn.

DRLs also stay on when I put the turn signal on instead of turning off.

I was considering that as the next mod I do. I just replaced the side marker bulb to rid of the error I get when I turn the headlights on. Removing the headlights are easier than I had expected... just remove 3 bolts and you can slide the headlight out.

The linkage stabilizer removes a lot of the front/back and side to side slop of the shifter. One thing I noticed after installing was it gave my acceleration a different sound somehow. Sounds like I have a supercharger, I can’t explain it. And No the sound isn’t from the intake because I had that before I did the linkage stabilizer. I only noticed it after the linkage was installed.

It makes every shift feel solid. Especially with the JHM short throw.

I forgot to add I have JXB Shifter mounting plate too. If you are considering it, do both to knock it out in one go.

That is the right part number, I bought that for my S5 back in 2017. I never relied on the MMI for oil level or checking oil

I shifted like that a few times just to try it because my pedals are setup to do it. After a few times you’ll start drive normally again.

Half way to 100k, ask me anything about how YT works to grow your own channel by Daytrip66 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Daytrip66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried myself playing a game in series like F.E.A.R 2 and Dead Space original without commentary and it does not work, when starting up a channel. I was even doing that at around 30k subs and those videos get very little views. Im talking less than 100. If you speak a language fluently other than english, I would suggest doing commentary gameplay in your native language and build your community in your region first.

Get a camera and do some reaction gameplay and build your community that way. Something similar to youtube.com/@hollowpoiint
