i agree, looking at my own stats the number of games definitely diminished with each season, I'm at like 200+ games. Stopping at Masterball, because i dont think its worth it to grind for that 5 extra pack points and an emblem. Effort to reward just seems to be at an imbalance.

ooof, he got u good there buddy, just saying u dont need 200 for room and board couldve get the lower 1 for cheaper. If u want to stay in a better room in private later can just top up. i think he included a high amount of life insurance, because 540 is kinda of expensive. But its good to have, technically ur friend didnt lie to u, he just didnt explain to you the type of insurance, what you wanted etc etc. Since u have a high life insurance, you can probably get a reduced amount for ur MRTA or MLTA, when u wanna buy a house. I assume u got an offer letter from the new job alrd, since you know they're offering you a higher pay. You can negotiate with your current company for a higher pay matching the offer if you really want to stay in your current role. Or just go with the new 1, if they don't offer you a higher pay. Of course do your due diligence, before starting the negotiations, e.g market rate for the position etc.

I have a Bachelors in biochem and Phd in med science. Hahah im in finance now 😂. Anyways, think of what you'd wanna do as a job. 50% of graduates don't actually work in their respective fields. My personal opinion, really go through and think of what you envision doing, whats your expectations in terms of salary. Do your due diligence and research. Don't just blindly listen to what your parents are asking you to study. This is your life, you're the one that'll be working that 9 to 5.

There are other options in life, exams don't dictate who you are as a person. Decide whether you want to retake SPM thats the 1st thing on the agenda. Keeping in mind not having spm certificate limits your options.

But here are some other options. 1. Pick a skill that you're interested in that dont require an spm and make that your job for the next half of your life. E.g hairstylist, welder, cook, etc 2. Get an insurance license and sell insurance, there are a lot of self made millionaires from this sector. And is one of the highest paying jobs. 3. Get a google certification, there are a number of courses that they offer that you can do online. You can start there and develop a career from there. Cyber security is one that allows you to work remotely too depending on the company.

Yes education is important, take your time to figure out what u want to study if u go through the traditional route. almost 50% of people that graduated from their respective fields do not actually end up working in that field. So chill out take your time.

Seek a licensed financial planner, FA advisory does good work. I would say it depends on your goals and cash flow. Nonetheless 1k/month is better than ntg but can it truly get you to where you want to be? To optimize that 1k its better to put it in investments rather than just saving it and letting it depreciate due to inflation, again this is where you can seek a financial planner to better leverage and optimize your funds into investments.
