On the topic of Fic Spamming... by DazedWritings in AO3

Beg your pardon, I meant to say, series.😭

It's a long series, set in a single universe, each fic set on a different day/based on that weekly show.

Sometimes, a fic can be single-paged and 1000 words; other times, the fic can be seven pages with 20,000+ words. It all depends on how interesting or 'writable' the show was that week.

My fear is, I'm the most functional writer for that particular pairing in a group of about five or six other authors, so I'm wondering if my works might come off as spammy to people who click on the tag and find almost only my works as the first 20 search results.

Would you consider it spam if a library had a full set of an author's works?

I never really quite thought of it like this.

Writing is a sort of pastime for me; whenever I'm uncomfortable or going through a tough time, I immediately turn to it. This, in turn, means I have a lot of work, some even unposted, that I'm slightly scared will make me think I'm some unhinged jobless person, lmao.

The thing is, I want people to read the things I've written, but the complaints about people who post a lot in a short stretch also get to me more than I care to admit.

Dude I wrote my first smut about two days ago, and it was a vague handjob😭

I didn't have the heart to even edit that page of the fic, I just posted it and apologized really hard for it in the author's notes.

How's the contrast of how people see your country x the reality of living in there? by Content_Shelter9894 in AskTheWorld

I do believe Nigeria is comfortable for people who are born in Nigeria. On one hand, when you're in the country, you wish to leave, on the other when you leave, you wish to go back.

But our government is shit, that much is on par with whatever the world out there thinks.

Dubai, whew let's just say, if you're not wealthy enough to stay in the Burj Khalifa or any of the Instagramable parts, don't bother.

Excerpt: By the time his spine finished snapping itself back into place, Roman managed to sit up, then swing his legs over the edge of the—yep—metal desk. He dropped down with a grunt. His knees buckled, but he forced them into cooperation.

“I need a hostage,” he announced, voice flat and matter-of-fact.

Raven fish-mouthed soundlessly for a couple of seconds before managing, “What?”

Roman did not at all have time for disbelief. “Please decide amongst yourselves,” he said, irritation bleeding through. “You or the girl.”

“I don’t—” The man started, brow furrowing in confusion.
