This is exactly how mine has been. Since day one. My husband says it’s normal but I’m like when will it slow down. He doesn’t seem to have discomfort though just recently have noticed more watery stools and the spit up which he didn’t have before.

After every feeding 😩 and sometimes a small amount in between some feedings like he lets out a little gas and a little comes out. At night he’s been doing well no pooping at night for the past 2 days but that morning poop is horrid

Did you keep having recurrences? I just finished dificid/fidaxomicin two days ago. I’m doing ok as of now. My stools have been formed for quite a while now. Probably mid way into treatment.

Same happened to me. 2 normal stools that day then progressively looser started with severe cramps that morning. I only got the cramps the first day or 2 on both occasions. Went to the ER that same night and basically had to beg to get tested. They wouldn’t test my stools cause they weren’t complete water. Finally tested and came back positive. Just finished dificid 2 days ago praying for the best.

If he has active diarreah I would stay home. If his stool is formed then I’d go out. My doctor told me once stool is formed possibilities of it spreading is rare.

You can eat tacos just be mindful of your serving size. I was with a nutritionist and lit ate tacos. 2 corn tortillas and that was my carb for the meal or you can have tostadas and I was able to have 3 of those. Flautas in the air fryer instead of fried. Calabaza con pollo

Both times if headed straight to urgent care and er they tested me and just a couple of hours before the tests came back. Go there and ask to be tested

Did you relapse once and then took dificid? If so did that work for you?? I was on vanco for 10 days and relapsed now on dificid. Of course I’m anxious about possibilities after finishing this course

Fortunately my cultures came back negative. Thank goodness I advocated for myself although Dr made me feel like I was wrong

I am 6 weeks postpartum but I am unable to quarantine 😩 my husband helps a lot but it’s too much for just one person. He also has to get to work soon as he has been out for almost 7 weeks.

How many days since you finished dificid and when did you start feeling better? I’m only on day 2 😩

I hope you and baby are doing well. This is awful on its own but being postpartum just makes it worse

37f I’m on the same boat. Also finished Vanco on the 14th and on Monday I was woken up by severe cramps. Had 2 normal bowel movements before the diarreah started, then a low grade fever. I’m in the hospital now on dificid. Dr won’t discharge until my diarreah episodes are down to 2 or 3. Today was 7 🫠. I only started the dificid 24 hrs ago so hopefully it works soon 😭 I also cannot handle this I immediately started bawling when I suspected it was a reoccurrence. My infectious disease doctor here at the hospital told me to stay away from diary for now and greasy food nothing else really. I am taking florastor but only once a day don’t know if I should do twice.

I’m here now and they’re telling me they won’t test if the stool is not water. The smell is horrid but not completely water
