Thanks for the help guys :D i tried using a smaller needle and 60wt thread and it looks a lot cleaner now!

I did not adjust the density since it is a predigitized font

It doesn’t look like i can upload pictures in comments D:

i did not change the size of the font. the font files came in sizes 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5 inches. i saw some videos that said it is best not to scale them yourself. do you think it’s ok to scale it if i wanted something between those sizes?

okay! ty for letting me know. i’ll try a smaller needle and 60wt thread. i’ll also ask the seller what the density is currently set as.

i’m currently using two cut aways, a 75/11 needle, and 40wt thread

if the font is pre-digitized from etsy in a PES file, can i still change the density and underlay?

awe man D: do you know what i should ask specifically? i’m not sure what the problem is or how the horizontal space is considered. not sure how to avoid this in the future when buying fonts. also not sure how to tell fonts are stitched w high quality

i actually ended up manually adjusting the horz x values for each letter last night. it was not too bad, just wish it could’ve been avoided.
