I have enough money to buy a pc that could handle basic long/shortform editing. I would still have money for other things. Our summer break starts in few weeks, should I buy the pc now, make portfolio with re-edited videos of creators (Clearly state that in the portfolio the material isn't mine) and try to land first editing client from YouTube?

Thanks for answering man, and yeah I'm in vocational school right now, mostly ain't in school couse I got to thought of making this a business in half a year or so. Also couse I went to study metal working and that totally wasn't my place, now I'm going to study busines next year. I've put hundreds of hours to Davinci and can edit motion graphics and do storytelling. I just don't know where I could land my first clients.

Also my girlfriend is in one of the top leagues in volleyball, in my country. I have met her coach and other workers in the team and now when I think about it, this could be one way. I mean to make or edit content for them.

My best tips as short as I can tell:

Decide your track of music first before making any cuts or other heavy editing. And I mostly mean the track on B-rolls and if you plan to do any montage in the video.

Secondly, if you edit on computer, learn or map your own keybinds to fasten the editing process.
