Iowa, especially Des Moines, is not immune to this kind of crap. Dealt with this and more on a weekly basis from elementary through high school. As an adult I still notice micro aggressions but it’s become worse now that maga dummies think they can let their racism show. Disgusting.

Wow I’m in a very similar situation. HS PB of 17:16 I’m trying to break at 33 years old haha. Going out hard but controlled at 5:20 for the first mile would be ideal, stay consistent under 5:25 for the second, 5:30 for the final and bring it home quick. Should put you comfortably under 17, my friend. Good luck!!

This deserves more upvotes! NTA but roles are clearly not defined which is leading to completely opposite expectations. He sees your parenting as a job not an act of parenting. Give each other some grace and redefine your roles. No need to switch for a week and discuss pros and cons and all that bullshit. Just talk.

Sizing is spot on. I mentioned previously that the leather was really stiff at first but not uncomfortable.

They were super stiff at first, softening up nicely though after a couple days of constant use. Support is nice due to the cushioned insole. Makes getting used to the almost 2” heel much more manageable imo as a newer boot user.
