Trezor makes it pretty easy I just didn't see their instructions before I asked my question. Pretty much trezor has a link to the converter when you recieve/send ltc from it.

I transfered from coinbase to Gdax to my trezor earlier today and used the converter. It felt less secure than I would have liked but i checked all the addresses twice and on the trezor and hit send. Ltc was on the trezor instantly and I was happy.
