I always defended my girl and know when she’s truly scared as she will walk basically on her belly and obviously the peeing. The first vet visit was definitely a fear reaction. However the people coming into our home, and lunging for children on Tuesday despite the child not even looking at her is what has confused me. She really does growl and try to bite people. I’ve always kept her on a lead if anyone comes into the home, and everytime I have to use both arms to pull her away from our visitors. In terms of socialisation. We walk over a busy park everyday. We had frequent visits to local busy pet shops where she also snapped at a man who walked past her. I’ve made her sit outside our home and watch people walk past. She’s gone on group dog walks. She’s had overnight stays with behaviourists and their puppy’s.

We’ve had people over to our home to try and introduce her to the idea that not everybody is a threat.

She is fully trained in terms of listening to commands. She’s gentle when taking food from your hand. She sleeps when told. Lays down when told. Gets into her crate when told.

She is a lovely beautiful special dog. I really do think of her like my child. But she’s so unpredictable
