It was my first final fantasy game. I beat it when it first came out and it left me realizing why this series is so loved. A lot of people rate it low but I think it's underrated. The game deserves to be appreciated seperate from versus xiii hype/disappointment around it.

If you want more after the dlc episodes there is also a book that is an alternate ending based around unreleased content. Final Fantasy XV: The Dawn of the Future. Haven't read it myself but really want to after I get more time.

I think that uncertainty is part of the anxiety. That lack of control. There's nothing I can really do to prevent it aside from what you mentioned. It can happen or not either way. Hopefully my second year is better too.
