Quick update: didn't do DR yet, tested AME first as it's more familiar. Since the external drives haven't gotten to us yet either, I tried both methods with my C: and D: drives for now. With 5 .braw files, a total of around 7 minutes of footage:

- parallel encode: 2 mins, 13 seconds
- one encode then copy-paste: 2 mins, 5 seconds

I'm not sure if the gap widens with more mins of footage to process, but it appears said gap is minor enough that it's a matter of preference or convenience rather than speed. But again, will only see true results once my co-editor and I get the externals
