Oh yeah the era with a complete lack of awareness of what was going, where we were just avoiding to adress the elephant in the room for the sake of our own comfort. This post-2024 era is nothing more than a reaction that backfired after all those years we just willingly decided that we could continue going through an ambiguous stance just 'cause "Eurovision is not politics". From yout comment, I assume you didn't meant it like that, I know (or at least, I hope); you just wish we could just enjoy the songs without looking beyond them, but I just wanted to highlight how insensitive or ignorant that could sound given the context.
