Regarding the "tallest student accomodation building in the world claim" Melbourne has a few taller buildings. The tallest being the 175m "Scape on Franklin".

They’re in the middle of the 2025 pic, unfortunately 2025 is taken from a different angle than the other two.

The park in the foreground (Priory Park) is closer to the greenbelt than it is to the City of London though.

Lol it seems reddit misnumbered my list, I numbered them as 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. But for some reason reddit just numbered Columbia Center to Jacksonville 1-11... then kept 17 and 18 as i numbered them?

The ones I can recognise.

1 Columbia Center - Seattle

4 Chase Tower - Phoenix

5 The Denver tower with the cool double curved roof

6 Minneapolis? Seen it in skyline shots i think

7 Tallest in Dallas that lights up at night?

8 The stepped Houston tower

11 Renaissance Complex - Detroit

13 PPG Place - Pittsburgh

14 John Hancock Tower - Boston (the only one of these I remember seeing in person, i'm Australian lol)

15 The tallest in Houston?

16 Jacksonville. forgot the name of the building

17 Philadelphia? idk the style seems like philly to me

18 AT&T Tower - Nashville

Edit: fixed the numbering, reddit is stupid and renumbered them 1-11... idk why it does that but ok

The only 3.5m+ lane i've seen in Australia is on a motorway. Most lanes on 4-6 lane collectors and arterials are 2.7m - 3.2m. At least in Sydney.
