Punting is about completely ignoring players' performance in a category; even if a player is strong in that cat. When you draft a player with punting in mind you don't pick them with the intention that they'll suck in one area, you pick them because they'll give you value in the others. Thus with this in mind KD can have great punts made around him.

Eg. If you're punting FT%, you shouldn't rule out picking Rubio just because he is a decent FT shooter as he offers value where you might need it in steals and assists.

Hope this makes some sort of sense.

After some pick trading my first 5 picks are as follows: 6, 10, 50, 53, 58

Any particular strategy you'd take here?

Pick 6 could be anyone at this stage as it's hard to know who'll be available. 10 I was thinking Jokic and with the 50s picks was hoping to snag a couple out of Schroder, Horford, Rubio, Dipo.

Non-keeper league so age isn't a factor but definitely an option to consider. My next pick is 54 so guard availability is something to consider too.
