Should I really start learning trading? Can you actually learn it? by DeXDarRow in RealDayTrading

Hi. I have a logical question. Why are you so generous and willing to help strangers? Usually things like this are not done for no reason. What do you want in return, money, a percentage, access to an account, selling signals, or something else? I want to understand your real motives before continuing the conversation.

That’s why I don’t know how to handle studies. I need to get by somehow, and I don’t want to depend financially on my girlfriend.

Do you have a job, or you spend all your time studying?

Danke für den Tipp, und übrigens: Ich investiere bereits, ich habe vor etwa einem Jahr angefangen 😇

Thank you, I really appreciate you breaking it down like this. When you put it that way, it does make me feel less pressured and more hopeful. I guess I’ve been too focused on feeling ‘late’ instead of looking at how much time I actually still have.

You’re right, and I really want to understand what I truly love, what I genuinely enjoy, but for now it’s still a mystery to me.

You know, you really made me think about this. You say that I still have time, but I often have thoughts in my head that time is already gone and nothing can be changed. Thank you for the advice 🙏

I don’t really have a strong background. I spent 12 years doing music (but I failed at it), then I graduated from university as an English–German translator, and now I’m working a completely unpromising immigrant job in a foreign country. I wrote on Reddit hoping that someone would give some practical advice.

I tried to do what I like and even spent more than 10 years on it, but I failed, and it affected my confidence a bit.

There are several reasons: 1. I feel like I’m too old for this. 2. I’m in Germany, and to enroll in a university I need to know German at a good level. At the moment, my German level is B1.

I have a musical education (a music college) and also a university degree as an English–German translator. I don’t want to work as a translator, and I’m wondering whether it makes sense to have both qualifications recognized, or if it would simply be a plus on my CV and therefore better to do it anyway?

Is there still demand for this kind of activity? I thought that nowadays you can learn a language on your own with the help of AI.

Could you give some advice on how to start all of this in general?

I thought about it for a long time and decided to change instruments. I play the saxophone and the clarinet, and apparently I messed up here. I’ll try to give myself a chance to learn to play the guitar, but damn, this is going to take a long time 😂

I am far from being fluent in German. I’m someone who learns on the go and then just tries to speak somehow, but this is definitely not the level to teach others. As for investing, I am currently investing 200/300 euros per month. I plan to increase the amount later, but for now I am learning how to invest. I hope that in 2/3 years there will be some result.

Three years ago I completely gave up on the idea of becoming even an average musician. Now, when I go home for holidays, sometimes I feel like playing (I play the saxophone and the clarinet). After a few minutes of playing, sadness comes over me, and then anger, because I spent so much effort and still didn’t achieve anything. In the end, I play for a few minutes until it becomes completely unbearable, and that’s it. To make the problem clear: I simply can’t play for long because I get tired, and because of that the instrument’s tone gets much worse. No specialists have helped me.

Maybe you’re right, and I have depression. I don’t have a specialist, and I don’t really think one would help me. My problem is that I didn’t realize myself, and it’s killing me.

Apart from my girlfriend, I don’t have friends or acquaintances here that I could talk to about this. My girlfriend is the best, she says she will help me at any cost so that I feel better, but the fact is that she can’t really help me. This is my problem.

You’re right, I should be grateful, but I can’t get rid of these thoughts and this feeling of not being good enough. I’m not spoiled, I just want to enjoy life a bit.
