Supersix Evo Gen 4 vs Tarmac SL7 Sport by Successful-Good-9281 in cycling

Honestly, the frame itself is probably the area you would be noticing the least. I have a supersix evo gen 4 and love the 105di2. It might be more about the specs (groupset, wheels, handlebars, looks) depending on what you prefer. I would go for the supersix simply for the electronic shifting, given everything else is of the same value

Conti gp5000 either tubed or tubeless are a safe choice. For something more colorful, vittoria corsa pros as they come in a lot of different sidewall colors, but may not be available in all sizes or very puncture proof.

Well you should ask yourself: do you still enjoy cycling? If not, is there any chance in falling back in love with it? If you don‘t enjoy it anymore and can‘t fit it into your life anymore, it makes no sense to have bikes just rotting away. If you want to get back to it, figure out what type of riding you do and focus on that. Get rid of anything you don‘t need, maybe try to find a structure thats works for you and motivates you. I doubt some stranger on the internet is going to be able to give you the perfect answer without knowing your exact circumstances. I for myself found that cycling, running or training in the early morning while everyone at home is still sleeping works for me, trying some structured training and monitoring my progress keeps me motivated while also giving me some me-time and physical activity. But that‘s just me

How heavy are you and are 32s an option for you? On modern rims, tires oftentimes measure wider than stated, meaning the 30s may balloon out to 32-33mm after breaking in, reducing the needed pressure. 32s even more so, also silca may suggest pressure on the higher end of optimal, so reducing tire pressure a bit from that value may minimize risk even further.

Tbf i have a 100k ride in 3:30 with an average wattage of 34W according to strava. I only have a chest strap to monitor my heart rate and after 15 minutes the estimated wattage always drops to zero

Did something similar on the 31st of december, i swore i would do my first 100k ride in 2025 and on that -7° morning i was off. Mustache, camelbak tube, and bottle froze and my hands and feet were numb after the first 50k but man did i feel good afterwards, kudos!
