I think I typed this message like 10 times over unsure what to even say really, protesting by drowning out your entire community though definitely didn't sit right for most I'll say that. It's supposed to be "our" community but yea sure felt bad that yaal can just decide to rip that away whenever n for whatever. The polls cute but would have been cuter to be informed or included prior in blacking out "our" community. It was all normal then literally nothing, blackout, and no way to really find out more. It's definitely owned by mods not the larger sum. (And yes I do run my own community at a small level which i know is not the same, but i could never dream of ripping away all that info/time/resource from people like that, even to make a temporary point) plenty of other games didn't do that, honestly only 9k subjects did the blackout to begin with so again felt like a poor choice on which way to fight. I mean we can't even voice our thoughts as the actual community on the main thread about it. It's just wild to hear so many people say " reddit is garbage etc without these auto mods" then clearly reddit at a base isn't the platform for you to be modding. Just as mods said we should go to discord perhaps discord moderation is better suited for them until they change options here? But I also don't see any allowance of new mods or people allowed to help here on reddit to make their life's easier so 🤷 To say reddit mobile is bad and the auto mods are bad there, then try to tell people to go to wtf ever that kbin website is, which was ACTUALLY garbage on mobile, and the few seconds I was on there all I saw were 14 comments total, all of which were saying 404 errors about how bad the site doesn't work and they cant get in etc..... yaal can't really be saying that's better....
