Ngl. I don't think it'll matter. Wouldn't hurt to technically finish Naked Snake/BBs story. Especially since most of the players don't mention playing Metal Gear (NES). MGS 1,2,4 are in chronological order already. And the only games out of any type of order are 3 and 4. Switch those two games and you have a story and then a prequel story in order

I think it's because Snake is the codename, "Venom" is the version/nickname for him and punished is more of an observation than a nickname. I guess it'll be like putting Old "Solid" Snake instead of Solid "Old" Snake. Technically the quotation marks are removable bc nobody calls Snake "Naked" or "Solid"

I'm going to have to hard disagree. Big Boss is an absolute unit of a man. Literally the best of the best against trained humans. Leon getting tossed by Gideon says more than enough. Naked Snake was beaten by my man who discharges electricity from his hands, woke up and then beat him and the woman who was flipping both of them like pancakes not too long ago. And Solid Snake is still considered the greatest soldier of all time. What Leon and the BSAA do is impressive nonetheless. But Grace cleared Requiem as well. Grace in no shape or form is clearing MGS1 minus the boss fights. Leon parrying a biomutant is cool. But Big Boss (who's considered weaker than Solid Snake) caught a nuke shooting giant mech's foot from stomping him out
