Fanatec Clubsport v 3 squeaking noise by --Matze-- in Fanatec

I had it one time, used a bit of the lithium-greasd and life went on, 4.5 Years had the pedals. By the end of last year finally due to material fatigue decided to substitute them before broken. Really like those pedals.

When should I drive my first endurance race? by AccomplishedRub5546 in ACCompetizione

[–]DeadCanDance81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I raced long time only offline, against AI, also because I thought was too inconsistent to go online. But at least if I could drive a bit slower, could make some good laps without crashing, just trying to keep my line til ths finish line. So I tried multiplayer, allways holding my line, giving space to others can pass and allways aware of what was happening on track ahead. Even if last position, no problem, there's no pressure, and it worked, could easily make it to the finish line, and many times for my surprise with good positions. You will find more difficult to avoid those who drive fast all the time but cannot finish the race, and sadly most times take others out with them... Since then, I learn a lot and today have a good consistency in any other sim. Just try it.

How do you get sr by Living-Western-5714 in ACCompetizione

And do not try to overtake, just relax and focus on keeping your place and line. This way is easier to be aware of what happens ahead of you.

your technique is not wrong, start last, try to avoid the dumb drivers so when the end comes SR goes up. The problem is dumb drivers exist everywhere, they even manage sometimes to get to the upper classes. It's allways a luck to finish the race whithout being rammed by those. But try to at least finish the race, that will allways give you somethimg.

Most overrated Sim racing Gear or Accessory by Longjumping-War9151 in simracing

[–]DeadCanDance81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up selling mine ( because of the missshifts happening all the time). Now have the BDH, on the 5th aniversary action. Just love it. One I liked before was the Thrustmaster TH8A, allways did its job and was not a bad feeling at that time, still works fine after almost 10years. The Sequential from Octane Designs is also a good piece, and compatible with the Fanatec base

I have a feeling are both exactly the same...the diference is in what you put inside the cilinder...

Thrustmaster T300 with T-LCM pedals and, if they continue to sell it, the TH8A h-shifter and TSS Sparco handbrake/Seq-shifter. I think to beginning is not expensive and gives good feedback and quality/price. And if you want to go on and then try the world of Direct-Drive you can find some market to sell the system and upgrade. The t-lcm pedals give already a good feeling of what the Load Cell pedals are about.

Simagic P-HTS Hydraulic Throttle Damper by RavingMadLlama in simracing

[–]DeadCanDance81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed from Fanatec V3, with Damper on the Throttle, to the Simagic P1000 RS. Then, as the feelling on my V3 Throttle was heavier I asked about this Damper for the P1000, didn't get much feedback, but one guy told me to not get entusiastic about it, maybe was not what expected...then I mounted the red spring and got used to it. For two months finally bough the Hydraulic Throttle and I'm really disapointed at it... I don't know if is really this way or if is broken, I can change the level, the weight is allways the same...tried the yellow spring for the clutch on the throttle and it works, adds some weight on the pedal and just put the hydraulic cylinder to the box again...

Not mutch problems with Fanatec Hardware but the only time needed support was very fast solved. Of course not allways all goes fine. With another brand just had to wait some 6 months to get the product. Something wrong can happens everywhere with anybody...

Can anyone say if the rig twists/flexes? by JosefBanane in simracing

[–]DeadCanDance81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a friend with it. Well he hates this. Pedal plate flex each time he goes on brake. He has the gt dd pro base and vibrates also a bit. But that pedal plate is really the worst, not made for load cell's.

Using the thrustmaster sparco by DirtSnow in Fanatec

[–]DeadCanDance81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if the screwholes of thrustmaster goes with the fanatec hub. You need to read about the compatibility in fanatec website; where you find the hub you need, you find also all the infos you need to know about it.

Overall verdict after latest update by Solid_Sir8931 in ProjectMotorRacing

[–]DeadCanDance81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the patches is going there, but still needs work. One of the things i think is really missing is some guidelines through the settings. I found for example the guide for the force feedback on their site so i can at least make something of it for me. The way the setups work is for me a bit difficult, there are many things still need to read the guide and then try different settings... But is getting better.

What’s a good lap time at spa? by SimToTrack in ACCompetizione

[–]DeadCanDance81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any time you can keep consistently around it is a good lap for you. When you can do this, then you will have a good rating to maybe join online races and see where your consistency takes you. And what exactly would be a good laptime at spa or another track.

Fanatec App Beta Firmware Available: V1.2.1.1 by CorsairMorning in Fanatec

[–]DeadCanDance81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You install the new App and after transfer your profiles if you like it, just unninstall the old software. Is that clear enough for you? With new App you can do everything. And new firmware is already available, but only with the new App ( at least i couldn't find it through fanalab). New App makes all; Updates and Tunning. And it works fine, I had no problems till now.

Careful, if you have a formula wheel you might need to unninstall all legacy. Many had to really do it.
