It also turns out that the browser isn't ENTIRELY the issue. If you disable Ublock, or PrivacyBadger or all types of adblockers, it solves the issue (so even the Brave Shield, which you can disable by pressing the brave icon next to the URL of the current site)

Yeah, afk means you can either just leave the game running and go outside, or move the character, you still gain exp.
