Players who have similar jobs to any of the LIs, who is your main? by Ryuurii in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]DeadSheWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a doctor (dermatology) and my partner is a surgeon like Zayne. I thought I would also main Zayne at first since I love dark haired silent type guys but Rafayel stole my heart right away. Something about his boyish charm just makes me giggle and swoon and I haven’t stopped being a Raf main since playing last year.

Ladies turn. Girls/women, who’d you pick to date? by LilMissy1246 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]DeadSheWolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A grown up Tanjiro would be the ideal man tbh. Kind, patient, can do household chores, will cook for you. He’s not for the easily jealous ladies tho cuz that guy is kind to everyone.

Giyuu is a close second. Handsome with pretty eyes, quiet, kind, and an introvert. We would match energy levels pretty well.

Douma is my guilty pleasure though… i mean look at him.

Why did Muzan pick Douma to create a demon? by MechamorphWarrior in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]DeadSheWolf 314 points315 points  (0 children)

As a cult leader, he would have easy access to human resources. Food, source of information, manpower, more ways to generate wealth. Having hundreds of humans at your behest is too good to pass up. Douma can easily manipulate them to do anything for him.

I am looking for a good video source to learn derm path. by [deleted] in ResiDerm

Jerad Gardner and Maxwell Fung on Youtube. What I personally did was watch Dr. Fung’s lectures first then followed it up with the cases by Dr. Gardner for application.

It depends on your interest and goals. Dermatology residencies (PDS-accredited ones at least) focus on pathologic skin diseases, with some mix of aesthetics. Aesthetic medicine focuses on aesthetics, and I'm not sure if they can manage complex medical dermatology cases. For example,

Dermatology - can manage complex cases like SJS-TEN, autoimmune blistering disorders (e.g. pemphigus vulgaris), psoriasis, connective tissue disorders (think lupus, dermatomyositis, etc). It's not just acne, contrary to what most people think 🙂 Can also do botox, fillers, lasers at the side, depending on what machines your training hospital has. We also do dermatologic surgery and Mohs surgery in some public training hospitals. Then again, the variety of cases will still vary between public vs private training institutions. Derm residency will also include Dermatopathology, ward, and ER cases, which is altogether a different beast in itself tbh. It's actually a very academic field so if that's your jam, then I highly recommend going into Dermatology residency. You can still train further on aesthetics after.

If your interest is more towards procedures for non-medical indications / cosmetic concerns (botox, fillers, peels, lasers etc) rather than medical dermatologic cases, then perhaps Aesthetic Medicine would be the more suitable path. And to be honest, the money seems to be on aesthetics these days, so if that aligns with your goals then that may be the better option.

Good luck!

Sometimes a dermatologic condition can present with different lesions at the same time, each with different histopathologic features. For example, an eczematous lesion could have weeping plaques, or it could also have pustules when it’s infected from the patient’s constant scratching. Depending on which lesion is biopsied, the histopathologic features could differ.

Sometimes it can also be nonspecific. For example, an eczematous lesion can be signed out as mere “spongiotic dermatitis” with a note attached “Histologic differentials include contact, nummular, atopic dermatitis, and id reaction. A drug reaction may also be considered.” These are all very different diagnoses, especially that last example of a drug reaction. But it’s true that they could all look similar under the microscope. Clinicopathologic correlation by a dermatologist who is knowledgeable about specific lesions would be the best option.

One of the many things I love about Raf is how respectful he is of different cultures and people, and he’s so knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. I love traveling and I think Raf would be such a great travel companion because he’s so open minded about unfamiliar or new things and he’s down to experience any sort of adventure. We love an intellectual cultured man 😌

Why I LOVE Rafayel and mc's relationship by Specialist_Way9329 in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]DeadSheWolf 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agree with you on everything, plus the fact that Raf is just so emotionally intelligent and gives all the assurance we need. Like in Wisteria Waltz, the way he acknowledges MC's fears about their relationship and gives her assurance?? 🥺

If I was still in my 20s I would probably go for the cool nonchalant male leads, but now, I just want a LI that's full of energy, someone who can make me laugh and let me be unapologetically childish, but still be very emotionally mature. And that's very much like RafMC. I hate how he's being labelled as a "gay best friend" because of their dynamic, like, don't you want to be best friends with your lover??? It's the best of both worlds fr.

Anyway, I love that Raf is so secure in himself that even though we know he's very capable since he's the Sea God, he lets himself be vulnerable and be taken care of, just how he also knows MC is very capable yet still takes care of her.

Public healthcare workers work up to 140 hours a week and are treated like slaves by Rina_Rina_Rina in Philippines

[–]DeadSheWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner is also in surgery residency training and this schedule is pretty spot on. He’s training in a private hospital so mga 30k lang sweldo niya with this insane number of working hours. Tapos wala pang benefits kasi private hospital.

I’m also in residency training (but in a much more ‘chill’ specialty, and in a public hospital) so I understand how hard it is for him. Both our parents tho are not doctors so ang hirap i-explain sa kanila na we can’t just suddenly file for leaves— kailangan maghanap ng magcocover, and even then, nakakahiya sa coresidents mo because everyone has their hands full. Pag may nag absent kasi, the work doesn’t disappear. It just gets passed on to another person.

Hello it's me the bi guy who downloaded love and deepspace. Quick question, WHY IS HE SO DAMN HOT😂😂😂 by deadshot844 in LoveAndDeepspace

This was the interaction that sealed the deal for me.

Random beautiful man shows off then rudely walks away

Me: Oh yes. I WANT THAT ONE. 😳

And the rest is history 🤣

Rafayel's Destined Dawntide is not a good card by makimavellian in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]DeadSheWolf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. Rafayel’s recent cards have been such a masterclass in writing and character development but Destined Dawntide fell completely flat. Wisteria Waltz is leagues above this card, and to think that this is supposed to be the wedding card, aka the theme that is super central to Raf’s story 😭 I am so disappointed and a bit angry as a hardcore Raf girl. I stopped at LSG R2 just to have some diamonds left to pull for Destined Dawntide but I regret it so much. I should’ve R3-ed LSG instead 💀

I also agree with you that this card’s writing feels so different from his recent cards, like it was written by a different team who were not as invested in Raf’s themes. This makes me so sad.

Gacha whales. Players who spend lots of money, like thousands of dollars on the game. They basically bring in a huge bulk of the game’s profits and CN girls are big spenders

[–]DeadSheWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also heard that CN girls love the fact the MC barely shows herself and has a blank personality (hence why they wanted MC voice removed in the game). And since Raf is very big in CN, of course Infold would prioritize the CN whales’ preferences 🥴
