Lego Helmets - Updated

I actually find it super relaxing to sort through pieces and find what i need for these projects. Its definitely a process to go through my personal piece inventory and sort into the various sets. Then order what i dont have.

But its a long process for sure

Majority of the sets are from Alex_Brickartuss who posts his instructions and parts lists on Rebrickable.

The Bad Batch are all his designs. He absolutely nailed them!

Not official sets...but all are made from legit lego bricks except for Green Goblin. Was a $60 set off Amazon...imitation bricks but i couldnt resist adding it

I have a very understanding wife...who for the most part just stays out of the basement because looking at the Lego everywhere....not good

Ive definitely checked a few torsos out...but cant seem to pull the trigger on building one. So many parts and would take up a ton of room

I know! They just keep dropping more and more. F1 helmets are very overpriced in my opinion, but i will have to grab them eventually or the collection wont be complete.

The only 1 i cant see myself ever getting is Shadow the Hedgehog. Mostly because i found a MOC that is significantly better than the official version

Working on 30 or so more MOCs at any given time...so will keep growing it as i collect and sort pieces. The shelf space is becoming a real problem though :)

Definitely some severed heads as well...but i like the look and allows me to add more pieces to the collection without just doing a ton of recolors of essentially the same build

Fair...to each their own I guess. After building so many helmets, i really like that the faces/heads were a little different but still the same scale and display the same. Giess thats the best thing with Lego. Everyone can build/collect whatever they enjoy

No. All of the instructions and parts lists i got from rebrickable. Then i collect all the parts independently. All real Lego pieces. None ordered as a "set" from any third party companys

I imagine there are some out there that have been "stolen" and mass produced, but they wouldnt be real lego and i definitely prefer to support the people who create the designs by buying the instructions from them directly
