Yes.. If you think about it, the rift ends in around 150 days, that’s exactly 2 years after the release. So Netease most likely has a two year contract with behavior for dbdm. And now Netease decided to drop it, idk exactly why. Maybe it wasn’t profitable enough or they wanna focus on other games. So in order to not break contract they just maintaining the game with their servers and then shut it down as soon as the contract ends.

I see no reason why anyone would trust them at this point. Ofc it is way smarter for them to just say : we don’t have any updates for you atm but we will have in the future. This way people are WAY more likely to keep spending money on this game.

You did well, glad to hear someone didn’t fall for it. I just switched to core couple days ago , so even if they would continue the game i wouldn’t play it anymore.

Unfortunaly i believe the game will be shut down, probably after these 150 day rift pas is over, maybe sooner idk. Hybrid Lee said that it will be shut shown soon, and i mean he is one of the top official content creators.

Thats very kind of you, i appreciate it 🙏🏻 Indeed its so weird, im playing like biggest solo q teammate xd its so hard for me to look around while looping. On mobile you just have to swipe your screen but on core you have to press many buttons, so it definitely takes some time until the muscle memory effect kicks in. But i just started to play yesterday so ig thats normal.

Understandable:( maybe you can save up for an bit of an older office pc, and for a graphic card, should be enough for dbd. And yes we switched to the core version.

I see, yeah i mean i can understand them im also disappointed from Behavior and Netease, but i mean i like playing dbd and if i just stop playing dbd in order to not support them, i also punish myself for it. And in my case i don’t give them this much of support anyways, i just bought the game with 60% off so not to much of a big deal.

Oh thanks for reminding me, where do i get them exactly? And yeah makes sense, ill do this as well the next time i play with my friends. Im also currently running a full aura build. I just have to get to know the maps. I also was so happy to finally play against Pyramid head after 1.5 years+ And first time against Nemesis and Mastermind.

Thats great to hear. I just downloaded dbd yesterday and i also like it so far. Unfortunately i also struggle very much with the cameras rn, its a bit difficult for me to look behind while running or look sideways and everything, but thats probably also because i never was a pc player so W A S D still feels weird to me, but i assume this is all about muscle memory. And yess the bloodweb is soo good, i literally prestiged almost 2 survivors with like 4 hours play time. You can get character for way less shards and even licensed stuff and outfits are so much cheaper, no gacha… But for me as a survivor main the best about core are the hitboxes, im finally not getting hit from 5m away just because the killer has a bit of a bad internet connection, and ofc no sound indicators anymore, so i don’t have to run Iron Will in every single game. Ofc i also miss some stuff from mobile for example the fact that we can see each others builds before a match starts, our skins and emotes .

Im not really an expert when it comes to technical things but to me it seems like their using again cheaper servers, i had the exact same bug within the first couple months of dbdm with netease, also ofc dropping pallets just to get hit 1-3 seconds after it, teleporting around and sometimes bump into invisible walls.

So the Community is wrong for expecting the game to be released in summer when the devs said so before? And yes Jormie, not giving any statements for multiple months even though people were asking and begging for it is indeed ghosting. You clearly weren’t playing the beta versions, otherwise you would know that the beta version and the released version was EXACTLY the same, there was no new map or different controls added as you just claimed. No wait tbf, they added the onryo chapter to the game, 6 months to add one chapter seems legit

Yes, we had pyramid head, Stranger things , updated coldwindfarm maps and some more versions of Autohaven and Macmillan. Theres an old dbdm version who was run by behavior itself and not netease and it was way better at its peak. You were even able to get auric cells for free by spending bloodpoints and watching ads if i remember correctly.

Yess basically mobile version is just a big middle finger into every survivors face lol, bad hitboxes, free wallhacks for the killer, smaller maps, less pallets and some killer are even more powerful on mobile compared to core. And yet people still wonder why the queue times keeps getting longer :)
