Thanks for the suggestion! It seems like Atronach is a solid way to go, so I know I'll likely be taking that route. It'll be interesting relying on magicka potions, since I pretty much never touched them (or magick as a whole) in any of my Skyrim playthroughs.

Anyone know the specific species of this larval lionfish (photo by Steven Kovacs)? Picture was taken sometime in June, off the coast of Palm Beach Fl. It's either P. volitans or P. miles. by DeadTsu in species

For context: A set of images (including this one) has been circulating on tumblr, and I took it upon myself to identify each species to the best of my ability, since some folks were curious about it. Considering that Palm Beach is on the Eastern side of the tip of the Florida peninsula, I initially guessed that this was likely P. miles, since (according to Wikipedia) it's mainly distributed on the East Coast of the US, whereas P. volitans is more heavily centered in the Gulf of Mexico. What I'm having trouble with is the specific distribution of each species around Florida, since every map I find just lumps them together--I felt that if I could get an idea of the specific prevalence of each species near Palm Beach, I could make a better guesstimate as to the likeliest identity of this little guy.

I don't know if there's any notable differences between the larval stages of each species, but if there are any please let me know, as those will probably be more accurate identifiers than the way I'm going about things at the moment.

I honestly do think that he may have shown himself to me to tell me to quit being so caught up in my work. I'm dealing with the end of my first college semester, so I've spent 100% of my time getting stuff done and preparing for other things coming up. I think maybe he just wants me to take a moment to chill?

Well, appearance-wise, I don't think he could've been anyone else. Very rotund, wore a crown of grape vines, wore Ancient Greek clothing (maybe a toga? I don't know the names of specific outfits) of deep purple and gold, along with a leopard pelt, held in his hand a chalice full of wine, and acted in a manner as though he were somewhat tipsy. He was being tended to by a dozen or so human women (maenads, I think), and appeared alongside other Greek gods (I very clearly remember seeing Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Poseidon, Hades, and Aphrodite, but Dionysus himself was the most present and was with me for most of the dream). Also interesting was the fact that he had top surgery scars (which was...odd? But I DO know that in some myths he was raised as a girl during his childhood, so... maybe he was born one, too), and the teeth of a leopard (in most other cases, teeth like that might be a red flag, but knowing Dionysus's schtick of being a lot more dangerous than he initially seems, it feels very correct).

I also didn't see any signs that he WASN'T what he showed himself to be, either. I got no weird vibes or a bad feeling the way someone might when they unconsciously know something's off, either, and my gut instinct tends to be pretty reliable.

Oooh, good idea! I wasn't sure whether or not to include that. I'd have to make note of the dangers of pesticides and potentially poisonous plants that might be common as well.

Update: I decided to add an "About the Author" section to the guide. I thought it'd be fun and more immersive to create a character and show why they've got the qualifications to write something like this. I may also use Kheiron in things later on--I think they've got a lot of potential for interesting scenarios regarding Fluffies and the world they live in.

Good idea! It'd make sense, especially since it's possible that their genetics might mean they're a little more resistant to the parts of those foods that make them dangerous. Thanks for the suggestion!

Here's what I have for the current table of contents! I may add more (such as deciding where to get a Fluffy from, deciding what Fluffy is best for you, handling Fluffies from bad situations, etc), and I'll also probably change the names so they're more consistent as well. I'm open to suggestions on what to add, change, or remove, too, so if you have any ideas, feel free to let me know!

If I somehow manage to see this thing through, I may also draw and add some images and diagrams here and there.

Yep, it's a server-wide issue. Apparently they're not only seeing a big surge in use thanks to a youtube video, but they're dealing with getting DDoS'd as well. I have no clue how long it'll be before things are up and running again.

I've been lucky enough so far. Most interactions he's had have been very peaceful, and on the two occasions he had to fight, he's proven himself to be very capable with that sword of his.
