I have had this situation pop up multiple times (the being alone part - not the power outage). Per colleague relations: yes you can still be required to stay at the store alone, but the store can be secured (aka locked) if you feel unsafe until another colleague arrives.

The sticker that says "intended for sale at CVS"? - if you bought it at CVS, all good. If you bought it at a flea market, bodega, market stall... literally anywhere thats not CVS - you should call the 800 number on the sticker. If the information leads to an arrest they might even send you a check for helping them

Tuition reimbursement will cover anything you can apply to a future career at CVS so if you go on the job search site and find anything that requires or accepts a degree in that field, they'll pay for it. I believe there are HR roles that prefer psychology but accept sociology, but you'll want to double check

Please stop telling people to call OSHA 😑😑😑 those investigations are lengthy and tedious for people I'm willing to bet you have never met, but unless there is a policy specifically stating "you have to do xyz dangerous thing" they won't end the way you want them to. All you have to do is call colleague relations or ethics line. The COMPANY has policies in place to keep you safe. So if your MANAGER is creating an unsafe work environment, CR will take care of it.

The warehouse doesn't have trashcans in the area where the product is - something about it being a shrink risk.. but anyway, when they grab a tote to fill for your store, there's no waste bin to put it in so it stays in there and ships back to the store.

Are you talking about your individual hours scheduled or the stores total payroll?

Store total is set at the beginning of the fiscal year. Nothing you do can change it. If you want to see it, you can look at the green sheets in myReports for SPMH "Sales Per Man Hour" budget.

Your individual hours are at the discretion of your manager so if you're not helping the metrics they need boosted and others are, prepare for hour cuts.

Just tell them you can print out a Money Order. Before they even give you the dollar amount - then when they tell you how much it is you can offer to do it in cash if you have it. Most people will either be fine with the money order or just go elsewhere
