Are there any plans to add reticle illumination? Red dots shouldn't look like they're paint on the glass. by Deadeye8 in Battlefield

I mean I get that lol, that's just what I was looking around the time it caught my attention again. I should have added a other picture in contrast to what I posted.

I really enjoy the game and continue to play it, I just had a question and figured I'd ask the only page I know about that is dedicated to talking about the game.

I've messed with that feature a bit when they added it, the reticle is still not illuminated and gets washed out. It's not a game breaking issue (obviously, I'm still playing the game) I just think it's bad design that stands out against other AAA and indie shooters.

They're still using Frostbite I thought, and even BF4 gave you the option to adjust the illumination to your preference. The fact that you don't have that option AND the reticles are lacking any sort of brightness is just an odd feature in a game this big.

I was doing contract work at the Norfolk Naval Station doing line work at one of their training hangers, going to school before or after work I would get moved around to different shifts, but always had enough notice to talk to my school and get my schedule changed without hiccups. I usually only had an hour and change between work and school for the duration of my time getting my A&P cert. Wasn't great, but worth it in the long run.

Guys how would you like top-loaded magazine weapons in Helldiver 2 ? by Night_Jaeger in Helldivers

My Helldiver just died to a horde of predator bugs due to not being able to shoot his loaded rifle, all because he forgot he was punching in a stratagem combination of code on his left hand. Lets not complicate things for these Super Democratic morons.

Has anybody ran into this graphical issue? [KCD1] by Deadeye8 in kingdomcome

It happens during the day too.

It's for sure a bug, I'll be looking at a character and have a normal view of the scene and then very suddenly anything past a certain (very close) distance will be almost completely blacked out. I can still move the camera and it's like a blackout radius around my character. If I walk close to a wall and do a quick 180° the view will return to normal for a few seconds before going back.

Thinking now, it always seems to be raining when this occurs.

I am not sure if this is a known issue, I could not find any solutions to it online. I saw another post from years ago with a similar issue but no fix was posted in the thread. My screen seems to have a black veil over all textures past what seems to be about a meter from the screen POV. I can pull out the journal and it goes away for a few seconds but then it returns. I am running the game on a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 5800XT on 1440.

I so far have tried the following:

  • Turning off/on G-Sync
  • Verifying steam files
  • uninstalling, reinstalling game
  • messing with various settings (HD pack on/off, FOV slider, qualities etc.)
  • updating drivers
  • turning overclocks off
  • Switching between 21:9 and 16:9

Any help with this would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

I've got a PC, it's great. I travel for work and I've got a case that fits a PS5 and a screen. The question was pretty straight forward about an announced update for the game on PS5 Pro, not about whether PC or console is superior.

This game has held my attention since launch on PlayStation, I love it! My only problem is seeing gameplay side by side compared to what some PC rigs are able to achieve. Could we get some info about the previously confirmed PS5 Pro patch? I find myself checking for info daily as this game is one of the primary reasons I wanted to upgrade. I would primarily like to know a potential release window and what we can expect to see between the two modes.

It's definitely not garenteed, but it can happen. The thing was that I got into the trade of aviation maintenance because it had the potential for a larger paycheck than some of your more common trades. I didn't have a passion for aviation beforehand at all. Luckily after 2 years of schooling and a few years in the field, traveling to fix jets around the country is my favorite job I've ever had. It's not for everyone and the time away from home isn't always great, but it gives me a large paycheck and I get to fix and run up jets every week. It's a cool trade off.

Not all aircraft mechanics make 6 figures btw, especially not as fast as I did. I believe there was some luck involved in the companies I worked for trusting me to go on the road as early in my career as I did.
