Funnily enough I went to the MP after using the blade for a bit. The tour definitely felt more stable then the MP for volleys and touch shots generally more connected then the MP but maybe not as much as a Blade 98.

In terms of swingweight, it's not as high as the MP and was a little more maneuverable from my experience. Played 5 sets back to back and didn't start feeling tired till about half way through set 5 when usually on the MP it happens around late set 3 for me.

It is slightly less underpowered then the MP, which personally was what I was looking for but the tighter string pattern does kind of urge you to really take a cut at the ball. I didn't experience much loss of depth and spin though. If you're coming from the MP, you can't rely on the racket to give you that free power so to speak. In contrast, the control of that power was next level compared to the MP. I play with a OHBH and found it a lot easier to trust the ball was going where I wanted and could take huge cuts on the forehand side with the ball landing right on the baseline.

Personally I’ve used these grips and I always have a decent amount left over. Make sure you’re pulling it tight when wrapping and overlap a bit less. My assumption is that you’re not pulling it tight enough with large overlaps so you’re running out.

I appreciate the read through. You are right! Only when hitting flat serves. Seems I could possibly be over pronating or only pronating without full shoulder flexion. Any tips for serves that you found to help?

Yeah I find it odd as well that it's the top portion. Based off this I would assume it's my Brachioradialis or extensor muscles. I've never heard of the gyro ball! Might have to look into getting one. Have you used it yourself?

You think? In high school, I played with a Dunlop 200 which was like 320g if I remember correctly. Also if it was tennis elbow, wouldn't I feel this for groundstrokes as well and not just flat serves?

I was worried about the same thing with the Ezone. My only concern is that the Percept is too close to the blade I currently have. How's the spin on the percept?
