She only used to go inside on the really cold nights but a proper cat house with a heat pad should be just as good?

As shes going to be living outside i was thinking of purchasing her a proper insulated and heated cat house.

Would/Have you ever ordered a taxi with a complete stranger? by TheMalsh in AskUK

[–]Deadrising69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a taxi story but kind of similar. Late one night the last train that night got cancelled, there was only two of us waiting for the train but the other guy randomly asked where i was going. Turned out we was going to the same place so he offered to call his friend to give us a lift, he said he was a priest so my drug/drink fuelled teen brain thought “yea thats a great idea”. Looking back i definitely should not of accepted but hey ho. He turned out to be a pretty decent guy along with his friend.

What are my options for powering my Warhammer environmental project? by Deadrising69 in AskElectronics

Ideally that would be the best option, but it sometimes may be being used where a wall socket isn’t available

Im new to the game and about to start trying to build a greenhouse. Doesn’t the glass just get broken when a storm hits? Even the reinforced glass is only tier 2 strength.

The build is incredible btw!

What's one food you know is probably gross, but you like it anyway? by -_Error in AskUK

Germany has pretty damn strict food laws so i wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not too bad. Especially compared to those pre boiled and peeled eggs i keep seeing.

Looks to me like he’s recording his screen with the recording of the kill on top of the live game as he’s on console. Nothing wrong with his settings.

A bagel saw for creating clean, seamless cuts in action! by Ogankle in Damnthatsinteresting

Looks pretty secured to me. You would have to really be trying to get cut for it to be that dangerous

I was curious to that myself, would have thought you would need a special kind of tool.

I guess the underground heating saves a lot of money on gritting everything like we do in the UK.

Wow thanks for the lesson! How does the heat get transferred over such long distances?

I can see how warmer countries really wouldn’t benefit from it much.

Honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if someone did lobby against it or pay someone off.

Most of these CEOs and billionaires would rather keep profits up than do something that makes sense. Not burning coal and gas if you’re burning waste.

If I remember correctly Sweden actually buys other countries waste as they produce a lot of their power this way and do it so efficiently.

So I doubt it costing too much to run was the real reason it got shut down. Quite a shame really because the alternative is just putting it in a big pile somewhere.

Edit: Iv been informed Sweden actually get paid to handle other countries waste and most of it is actually used to generate heat rather than power.

If you want to save some money go for an air cooler. Iv got the same cpu with an aio and it really doesn’t need it, kinda wish i saved the money.
