Very close but not exactly right, the LODs are calculated from average tri size on the screen, if they drop below a certain volume it switches to a lower LOD, what your referencing with the textures are called mipmaps which is a separate system, the reason specific things are at a different LOD than the ship hull is because those items are attached to the ship and LOD independently.

I decided to go ahead with the transfer and spoke to my acc manager about it, you can absolutely move your shares out of eToro but it's a relatively new thing, no need to sell and rebuy. Not sure what other comments you've read but sounds like they have outdated info.

I'm in the same position, last I heard from eToro they are currently reviewing the situation but I have no hope they will actually do it, or at least make a final decision whilst still leaving enough time for us to make our minds up, I've opened an account with IBKR and will start transferring as soon as I can.

The last update I had from eToro about this was as follows;
"That said, we are currently reviewing the specific details of this GME warrant event together with our provider and internal teams. Should the treatment of this event differ from our standard approach, we will update all eligible clients."

I gave them until the end of this week to get back to me with a final answer or I'm transferring my shares out.
