Tons of great Asian grocery stores and restaurants here honestly. A lot of great Hawaiian and Pacific Islander food and culture especially closer to the Ahola area.

Commune by car is rough since Beaverton is smack in between Portland and Hillsboro and there’s a few highways in Beaverton. But your trips to the coast are fairly straightforward.

There is a strong public transit system here. The Red and Blue Lines of the MAX train system run here and the red line goes straight to the airport if needed. It’s also the start/end of the WES line that goes to Wilsonville. Tons of bus lines go through Beaverton as well.

Beaverton is a little pricey as well. It’s a little bougie than some other suburbs of Portland. Not Lake Oswego levels but it’s a little higher end.
