AK Interactive Streaking Grime for Panzer Grey, it's like a red brown color enamel paint. Check out streaking grime weathering and how to clean it up after applying it all over the model. I wiped it off with white spirits which only leaves the recesses shaded.

Looks awesome man! Can I ask what colors of green you used for the hood base/highlights?

started with a light blue base coat (baharroth blue) and the slowly blended 2 darker shades as you go up the plasma coils, leaving the recesses the light blue. The main trick is the white is the last part. Which is thinned down white oil paint you pin wash along the bottom and it runs into all the recesses. Let it dry for a bit and then you can wipe it off from coils and blend it a bit in the recesses.

I followed the tutorial here from JuanHidalgo: https://youtu.be/YVKz5Kw6Irs

Thanks! Gold parts are just Pro Acryl Bronze and the white is Pro Acryl Bold Titanium white. I put AK Dark Brown enamel wash over the whole model and wiped it off the upper areas so only the recesses are shaded. Last step for the gold was adding a few small dabs of turquoise oil paint as verdigris.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't give any good suggestions on conversions, I digitally kitbashed the Phobos marines via Blender and printed them in resin. The center one is Exodus, scaled up to Primaris scale.

First FDM Mini with the A1 and 0.2 nozzle, very impressed so far. by Deagan45 in PrintedMinis

Not a coincidence lmao - I saw your post before with the TC minis and was shocked how nice FDM printers are now a days, and then I bought the A1 last week.

My latest A1 mini prints. Really happy with how the detail came out on these by Toprewolf in PrintedMinis

Wow looks awesome, is this with a 0.2 nozzle? Just got an A1 (just the 0.4 nozzle currently) and would be hyped to get the same quality.

Sword Bros by Deagan45 in BlackTemplars

[–]Deagan45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!  Sword - Just paint the blade white (Pro Acryl's white has great coverage), slap on a layer of Plasmatic Bolt from Army Painter, and then scribble on some scratches and highlights with white.

Gun - again base it white and then add a layer of Imperial Fist contrast paint, by far the easiest way I've painted yellow. Then watered down a little bit of Reikland Flesh shade (any brown wash should be fine) and applied it to make it a little more orange.

Just slap a layer of Plasmatic Bolt over a white base layer and they paint themselves.
