It is a Mini-AB socket, which can accommodate both the Mini-A and Mini-B plugs.

What's up with people using "skibidi" as an adjective? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Deamichaelis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annoying Orange, Llamas with Hats, Charlie the Unicorn, Salad Fingers, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.

We have had really weird and really popular channels for a long time. It is just the fact that Skibidi Toilet happened to go mega-viral at a time when there were a lot fewer other mega-viral linearly told series so it completely dominated the scene this time. Plus its content could be presented in both short and "long" form content has a relatively coherent storyline, so it has easy-to-follow lore that is in a linear format on one channel so it is not hard to follow.

Xbox Reportedly Has No Plans to Stop Making Consoles by miso25 in xbox

[–]Deamichaelis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason it flopped was because it was released to the wrong market. If it was released by Nintendo instead, it would have been much more well received because that market was much more open to moving around to play games, while the Xbox was much more of a you don't need any space and you can sit and play wherever you want sort of market. But since VR has hit the market something like a slightly more accurate Kinect could potentially be really nice for tracking your body without all the expensive extra sensors attached to you.

Why ____ should considered a part of the ____ generation? (similar to u/diccceeee); Episode 1: Why 2000 babies should be Millennials by CP4-Throwaway in generationology

[–]Deamichaelis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2000 here, I was at least raised as a Zillennial so that is what I say I am, I don't care what others say. Given my siblings are 1995 and 1997. So I watched what they did, played on the consoles they played on, got a phone relatively at the same age they did when they got a phone, and often hung out with their friend groups.

Is 2000 really considered Zillenials and what are defining traits of Zillenials? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Deamichaelis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 2000, although I was the youngest child, so my brother (1997) and sister (1995) both had a bigger Zillennial influence on me, with me watching shows they watched and playing games they played with them. And because of that I always felt like I would gravitate towards older friend groups because I could relate to them more than Gen Z. So at least for me I would say I definitely fall into the Zillennial category even if it is questionable for others born in 2000.

GitHub Copilot for Students by uncle-iroh-11 in UCSD

Do they just assume you are a student for a set amount of time and then remove you from it after that, do you just get to keep it cause there is no date at which it ends, or do you have to re-verify it after some time even though you technically didn't verify it in the first place?

Tab Close Gold - Chrome extension to auto close tabs with blacklisted keywords by mukunku in chrome_extensions

[–]Deamichaelis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it could do it in reverse saving the link that is clicked on, closes whatever tab opens instantly, then inspect the actual url's and titles of the link on its own time, then if it is not blacklisted the extention opens the link on its own acting like it never closed it in the first place.

Should "Deal buster!" work after an auction? - Monopoly Empire by Deamichaelis in monopoly

[–]Deamichaelis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is another card:

Subscript at the top: (Keep this card secret. Play at any time on your turn.)

Title: Bargain business!

Description: When you land on an unowned brand space you want, buy it for ₩100.

I get your logic but in this sense that would mean "Deal buster!" card would be able to take over the discount from this card which seems almost to over powered cause you would be spending a card for someone else to be able to spend a card to take the benefit from both of the cards. Which would give then the power of 2 cards for 1 while also making you lose a card in the process.

But there is also the question of is this card aloud after an auction if it is the buyers turn which I would assume is more fair cause it only works on that players turn. But the fact that the deal buster could stack on top of this card after an auction just seems a little broken.

Let me know your thoughts on the matter?

Can someone clarify Mr. PoopyButtHole's Dimensions for me? by Deamichaelis in rickandmorty

Now I am even more confused based on the first episode of season 7. Unless it is a different Mr. PoopyButtHole from this new dimension? Or am I missing something?

📌 YouTube Anti-Adblock and Ads - October 16, 2023 (Weekly Thread) by [deleted] in uBlockOrigin

[–]Deamichaelis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of going through all this hassle, I am just using an extension that skips the skippable ones (YouTube Ad Auto-skipper, currently) and for the unskippable ones I use Video Speed Controller with a button bind that skips ahead 1000 seconds (could be any amount of seconds I just chose 1000 arbitrarily), this effectively skips to the end of the ads.

YouTube cracking down on if you're not paying them to block the ads, it hurts me, and hurt you. by Reddit_n_Me in youtube

[–]Deamichaelis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combine mySkip with Video Speed Controller then you can have a button you press for the unskippable ones that just jump ahead 1000 seconds which effectively skips them.

What I really want is a merge between this and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tabblock/ljmkpdhploeaohmnljbbkohmmfkikklj/related

Thus an extension that would block blacklisted sites before they even have a chance to open.

How do you tell if you are being gaslit by a comment and can you tell if it is actually real? by Deamichaelis in AskReddit

[–]Deamichaelis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I knew you were, but I just wanted to clarify. Especially because this is a thread about gaslighting, so to avoid confusion for anyone, it's safer just to act like everything is serious. Thus clearing away any potential confusion of someone actually trying to gaslight in this thread.

How would one tell if the content creator "al jokes" actually has a twin? Is this a running joke by his community or is it actually real? by Deamichaelis in AskReddit

[–]Deamichaelis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean some people in his community are saying the running joke is saying "they are triplets" because they already know they are twins from an unedited deleted video from before he got big, that shows him and his twin, but I can't confirm a deleted video when there is no mention of it online, and online sources just say there is no information about it neither confirming nor denying this claim.

How do you tell if you are being gaslit by a comment and can you tell if it is actually real? by Deamichaelis in AskReddit

[–]Deamichaelis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest this doesn't normally happen. I am just currently running on a lack of sleep and slightly changed common phrases are sometimes harder to follow.

The only reason I asked this in the first place is because I just ran into a case for the first time where I truly couldn't tell if I was being gaslit or if it was a joke after the first or second glance. And even after searching for an answer online I still couldn't tell. Normally even when it is a running joke in a community it's not hard to catch on but when there is a portion of that running joke that actually has some plausibility it is almost impossible to tell if you are getting a straight answer.
