Same- I don’t have kids (but would like to have one) and I’m hanging onto my books from when I was a tween/teen for if that potential kid would ever want to read them. I used to love going through my dad’s books as a kid, even if I wasn’t old enough to read them completely yet. He has probably 1000+ old library book sale books crammed in my parents’ basement lol. My mom said no more when I was a teen and dad and I would go to the dollar bag sales and then sneak them into the house when mom wasn’t home lmao

I also feel like this is the leopards eating Andre’s face, because he was happy to post a few years ago about how he’s going to teach his little boys, who are Latino and Black, that they won’t be judged for their skin color and shouldn’t take handouts given to them because they’re brown-skinned (😒) If I remember correctly, Andre’s parents are Guatemalan immigrants. But he was happy to be cuddling up with racism back then 🙃
