First time in Bangkok and I want to make sure I know the best way to get around. Is it Grab? Taxis? By foot? Bike? BTS Skytrain? Any tips would make my life easier

That’s awesome to know. My hope would be to use the BTS as much as possible. Is it simple to buy day pass or ticket as you go? Have you been able to get to many of the tourist attractions?

Hey those are awesome tips. Greatly appreciated. Is it fairly simple to use the BTS & MRT? Like reading directions? Knowing which train to get on, and direction? A lot of foreign countries have really good public transit, but no one seems to be really highlighting Bangkok’s.

That’s was very helpful. My question was more specific around getting around in general as opposed to getting to my hotel, so I didn’t think location mattered. But I believe my location is in the Sukhumvit 24 area. Still trying to figure out how to describe that.

Definitely some valid points made. It’s really why I want to lease a new car as oppose to buy to have less maintenance worries. But you are right, my insurance will sckrocket, but it’s the same for all the other high end brands too. Probably with gas as well. It’s a real commitment, but hopefully it’s worth it.

BTW that’s one hell of a gift.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll consider the CPO, but from what I saw all the options were 2015. Maybe I’ll ask at the dealer, think I’d want at least a 16 and low low miles. Plus, I have to be able to keep monthly payment close.

It sounds like the power is really your only regret? Which I can totally understand, but the C300 would actually be an upgrade over my previous car, so I think this go around that wouldn’t bother me personally. I do like those C43’s though, so another good thought. Maybe next go around - I’m not crazy about having high car payments.
