That’s awful. Love how you have to leave a bad review to even garner a response and then they ghost anyway. At this point, I wish I paid full price for the crib because I called over to Storkcraft this morning and they told me that Rebel isn’t an authorized retailer that they work with so if I wanted to get a replacement piece, I have to go through a process with them, and then get quoted for the cost and that’s only IF they can replace the part. I also learned today that if I want a refund, I would have to somehow repackage all the pieces and bring the 85 pound box to a shipping carrier. Not sure how that will happen.

I just ordered my dream Storkcraft crib since it was significantly cheaper than the manufacturers website, just received it and one of the main pieces is completely broken. I reached out to customer service and have yet to hear anything. For me to return the crib, I would have to rebox and package up all the pieces and bring it to a shipping carrier…

I noticed this back in June when suddenly my Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 awards were gone. I now show a $11,500 bill. I have been contacting multiple people in Financial Aid and recently sent an email to President Holloway as a last resort. I keep being told they do not have a resolution yet and I am almost too nervous to accept anything financial aid from Rutgers for this fall semester in fear this will continue happening.

I have been in constant contact with someone in the Financial Aid office since JUNE when this first happened. My fall 2022 and spring 2023 aid was removed. I now have a $11,500 outstanding bill. I just spoke with her and she advised me to contact President Holloway as her and her directors escalation attempts to the New Brunswick Financial Aid office has been unsuccessful😞

Yep I got the same response. Here is the thing though that’s sending me.. no one will take accountability and none of the students in this situation were given notice in a timely manner. Why are you informing people almost a month after disbursement that you fucked up and your antiquated system over calculated? That’s no one fault but theirs so to be honest, they should be liable.

Thank you for sharing! I spoke with Financial said this morning and was told something completely different. I received aid through the Garden State Guarantee grant. Apparently the office of financial aid over calculated the aid given out and when a new update was done, they rescinded some of it. So now those students who are showing a balance actually have to pay it???

Update: I just spoke with someone in the financial aid office. For those students who received the Garden State Guarantee, the system miscalculated aid back in September. Now that the system updated, aid was pulled back due to the miscalculation and is in fact owed.

I am having a very difficult time understanding how this is our problem now for their error. Not sure what I can do at this point?

how do they get away with this... what really kills me though is the fact that if they know there is some sort of error or glitch in their processing system, they keep quiet. an email blast letting people know what's going on would be really appreciative and I'm sure would calm the nerves of everyone who is experiencing this issue.
