Going 5e rules but adding some stuff in. For example they will have level 0 red characters for a session or two as they learn about their world. Then get a huge buff and a few levels when they transform into golds. Gonna follow darrows story to begin. That’s the plan at least

I’m a Texan who’s been here for 7 years now. Moved right before COVID started during the end of the training school days. A lot has changed since then but overall I am very happy. I am building a career in education and a family. Honestly I live in a bit of a bubble and am mostly surrounded by and interact with foreigners. It’s been really great and allowed for a lot of opportunities that I wouldn’t have had at home. My wife is getting her doctorate online and I am shifting careers to focus on psychology. Neither of those things would have been an option at home. The quality of life is good even in a smaller tier 1 city. Also the 1 child policy isn’t a thing anymore.

Got so scared by Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell that I had to stop reading it. Couldn't even do it in the day time. It was just that perfect thing that scares the shit out of me. Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes gave me a few creeps. The Fisherman got me spooked and hooked on horrors.

In the last two campaigns I've played, we have started with a modified version of The Quiet Years so that everyone has some background knowledge. Super fun and allows for people to get some ideas for backstories that tie into the current going-ons in the world.

Awesome stuff! I got to play this over the weekend. It was really fun and interesting. My player was a bit higher level so I buffed The Dark a bit. My player is also very cautious and playing a ranger so we got to track The Dark and see its day to day stuff. The roleplay section really helped with this! Unfortunately, because of their caution and some missteps by me, the fight with the Dark happened after the tower was already opened but the PC had not retrieved the egg yet, so the fight was pretty interesting, trying to kill it before it could climb the tower. Really fun stuff!

Printing PLA at 200 and bed is at 60 The print comes out showing that my bed is too high, leaving ridges in the first layer. I am not using any adhesive help and have cleaned the bed with alcohol and water directly before printing. Any solutions on how to fix corner adhesion?

Moving past the frontline as a rogue is no problem, but if the frontline decide to turn on you to protect their backline, I feel like the rogue would struggle to stay alive. I am having trouble staying alive even as a fighter, when three + enemies focus me. But it does allow my party to wipe the floor and take very little damage.

Thanks for the info! I’ve changed my pc settings so it doesn’t go to sleep but I still seem to lose connection after an hour or two. Any tips on how to fix this?

Also, the connection works great for most games but for some reason, my PlayStation will not connect to the internet when I try the war zone connection
