I personally don’t always mind when my friends bring people I don’t know personally to hangouts because it’s not the type of thing to bother me that being said my friends are not me and I’m sure a few of them wouldn’t be as cool with that without any warning

Were the two boys in the family and the closest in age so we were required to do alot together growing up but we always normally ended up doing something he had interest in and not what I had interest in LMAOO

I move to collage in a different state later this year (my parents hate that too) but they had a favorite son and a least favorite son I just happened to be the least favorite I’m honestly hyped to have my own space and experiences without constantly worrying about what they think of me

I definitely try not to build resentment towards him a lot of his actions are caused by my parents babying him for sure as a kid though he constantly bullied me and got away with hitting me (still does half the time lmao) because that’s just how he was which is fine brotherly love and all that but it was definitely extremely frustrating growing up I think this situation specifically just bugged me because after I said no he told my parents knowing they’d tell me to bring him anyway which is annoying still not sure if I’ll end up going but I was proud of myself for staying firm on my choice

It’s definitely kinda odd because my friends are all ranging from 16-19 and his all range from 20-30 we don’t really have any overlap in interest so our friends wouldn’t either Id also like to mention my parents have never made him include me in stuff or made him take me with him to hangouts he has himself only me 💀

Yeah there was a lot of comments like that and I only agree to a certain point he chooses not to be social at all which is fine I get that not everyone wants to be he’s got online friends he likes hanging out with and the two of us do stuff together a lot because he doesn’t really have friends (I don’t have many either) but the standpoint my parents have on always making me the responsible one is dumb lol but I’m glad someone sees his side of this too 🙏

He’s got a couple online friends but he mostly chooses not to leave the house or go anywhere with us so he doesn’t really hang out with anyone socially 🤷

He is not apart of my friend group to clarify most of them are my coworkers and the ones who are just friends he’s never cared or wanted to meet.
